What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs. They are up to 40 times more nutritious than the mature leaves of the same plants. Flavors are intense and complex and they have a nice crisp texture.

How do I Eat Them?

Add microgreens to salads, soups, sandwiches, smoothies, eggs. Or just eat them as a snack. They look great on Charcuterie board. A favorite quick meal of mine: microgreens, can of tuna or chicken, and a tablespoon of salad dressing. Stir and serve (3 min prep time)!

How Long do they Last?

They should last about 10 days. Keep refrigerated! Microgreens like to be in an airtight container with a paper towel to absorb moisture (they are grown in a humid environment).

Where did these Microgreens come from?

I grow them under artificial light in a peat-based soil. No fertilizers or chemicals. Total grow time is about a week.
